Job Overview

A prominent role awaits at TPG Telecom, a leading mobile and internet provider in Australia. As our Internal Audit Manager – Technology, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality of assurance over risk management and internal control systems related to Technology risks.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with 5+ years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Technology Security, or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen and technical experience in delivering Technology-related assurance, including Cyber Security, Information Security, IT General Controls, Project Assurance, Digital Transformation, Technology resilience, and disaster recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing the Internal Audit Plan: Contribute to the creation of an aligned plan that addresses business risks and strategic goals.
  • Implementing the Internal Audit Plan: Deliver high-quality audits, overseeing all aspects, including stakeholder collaboration, planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up actions.
  • Identifying Improvement Opportunities: Discover opportunities for growth across the business through recommendations and actions.
  • Providing Governance Advice: Offer guidance to business units on governance and control improvements.
  • Enhancing Function Performance: Contribute to the improvement of systems, processes, and services within the Internal Audit function.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, Technology Security, Technology Governance, or a related field.
  • Strong commercial acumen and technical experience in delivering Technology-related assurance.
  • Telco or Technology industry experience is highly valued but not necessary.
  • Strong understanding of International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and Technology Risk Frameworks.
