About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Trade Activation Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive Go-To-Market Trade Activation strategy.

This role involves leading the development of trade activation plans across both grocery and pet specialty, managing relationships with key shopper marketing stakeholders, and fostering strong partnerships.

  • Develop and lead trade activation strategies that drive business growth and meet customer needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation of shopper conversion strategies, ensuring flawless execution and thorough pre- and post-evaluation of activities.
  • Track financials and provide reporting for consumer or shopper activations.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in trade activation and shopper marketing.
Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Development:

  • Lead a team of direct reports, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure their success.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Operational Excellence:

  • Manage trade activation budgets and ensure spend is aligned with business requirements.
  • Develop and implement processes to track and measure the effectiveness of trade activation activities.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and external partners.
Required Skills And Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in trade activation, shopper marketing, or related field.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of trade activation principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop insights to inform business decisions.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and data analytics tools.
