About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Fresh Produce Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the supply chain process, ensuring seamless delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational requirements.
  • Manage pre-harvest and post-harvest domestic seasonal forecasts on a weekly basis.
  • Engage with logistics and quality teams to ensure inbound product is received and reviewed upon arrival.
  • Understand on-farm quality to contribute to commercial decision-making.
  • Assist the commercial team in reviewing and maintaining an updated understanding of stock on order, stock in transit, stock on hand, and stock available for supply.
  • Operate within the requirements outlined in the Horticultural Code of Conduct.
  • Assist the commercial team in maintaining control of inventory by generating and preparing reports.
  • Maintain frequent communication between internal commercial, farming, logistics, and administration teams and external customers and suppliers.
  • Provide assistance with managing the grower/producer/supply base to support sales, volume, and profit targets.
  • Assist the commercial team with managing day-to-day operational and administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Agribusiness, Business, Communications, Supply Chain, or similar.
  • 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, commercial, logistics – highly desirable.
  • Experience in FMCG or similar – desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail.
  • Computer savvy, with great Microsoft skills (intermediate Excel skills are highly desirable).
  • Ability to work under pressure and quickly adapt to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to provide strategic input.
