Role Overview
The NSW Government is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of District Clinical Leader Mental Health Physical Healthcare and Clozapine Coordination. This position plays a critical role in developing and promoting a sustainable, consistent, and coordinated model for the physical healthcare of mental health consumers throughout the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and/or facilitate innovative strategies to improve the physical health outcomes and enhance the quality of life of people living with enduring mental illness.
- Oversee and facilitate successful adherence to the ClopineCentralTM Protocol for all consumers registered with the Murrumbidgee Local Health District Clopine Centre through expert clinical advice and leadership.
- Establish systems across MLHD MHDA inpatient and community settings that support the continued implementation and compliance with the relevant Policy Directives, Guidelines, and other mandatory requirements under Commonwealth and State legislation.
Requirements
- Provision of high-level planning advice to senior Mental Health Drug and Alcohol management regarding service and policy development.
- Analysis of State and National policy and service directions and development of models appropriate to MLHD's regional, rural, and remote contexts.
