About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our national workplace team as an Associate. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience in a well-regarded Workplace Health and Safety or Employment law practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act for private and public sector clients in relation to workplace health and safety incidents, prosecution proceedings, and inquests.
  • Undertake workplace and incident investigations, advise on incident management, psychosocial incidents, regulatory investigations, WHS systems, and workplace culture.
  • Gain exposure to clients across various industries and jurisdictions, including Commonwealth, state, and local governments, as well as construction, transport, food, FMCG, and energy clients.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in a Workplace Healthy and Safety or Employment law practice.
  • Experience or keen interest in investigations, prosecutions, and inquests.
  • Well-developed analytical and drafting skills.
