The Role of an Emergency Services VolunteerAustralian Red Cross has been responding to emergencies and providing humanitarian assistance in Australia since 1914. Our Emergency Services team works with communities before, during and after emergencies to provide support and aid.
As an Emergency Services volunteer, you will:
- Assist communities in preparing for emergencies through training and support
- Provide psychosocial support and training programs to individuals and communities
- Engage in response and recovery activities, such as supporting welfare and relief centers and providing support through our emergency hotline
Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, and we believe that everyone deserves access to essential services during times of need.
