Job Title: Mental Health Clinician

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our team. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients with mental health needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver safe and evidence-based nursing care to patients across various settings, including acute and community mental health services. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care, supporting patients and their families in decision-making, advocacy, and discharge planning.

You will also be responsible for supervising and mentoring other healthcare professionals, as well as contributing to clinical quality, safety, and improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA without restrictions.
  • A minimum of 5 years in mental health nursing.
  • Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • A valid driver's license for regional and remote roles.
