Mental Health Practitioner

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves providing psychological assessments and interventions for individuals with mental health issues, in line with recovery principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify individuals' mental health needs and develop targeted interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care services to consumers and carers
- Participate in multidisciplinary assessments, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning within a biopsychosocial framework
- Develop and implement patient-centered care plans that promote holistic well-being and recovery outcomes
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology and registration with the relevant professional body
- Demonstrated experience in psychological assessments and interventions with people presenting with mental health issues
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with consumers, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information effectively
- Current driver's license and willingness to use it for work purposes
- Proficiency in using digital technologies and software applications to support practice
