About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Technician to join our team at E80 Group S.p.a. in Melbourne. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of complex systems at one of our key food industry clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to ensure equipment efficiency
  • Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting activities to resolve equipment issues
  • Implement preventive maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance plans
  • Provide regular reports to customers and E80 Group on performed activities and system performances
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and E80 Group stakeholders
Requirements
  • Technical qualification in electromechanical field or industrial automation
  • Past experience in electromechanical or transfer technician, electrician, or automation engineer roles
  • Good understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings
  • Knowledge of Siemens plc, Beckhoff, Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Rockwell (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills, intuition, and strong autonomy
  • Proactivity and outstanding problem-solving skills
  • Strong critical sense and curiosity in learning new technologies and managerial aspects
  • Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written), knowledge of Italian language (desirable)
