Job Summary:

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled BMS Service Technician to join a leading Building Automation company in Melbourne. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and commissioning building management systems within the commercial construction and defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert service, maintenance, and commissioning support for building management systems across Melbourne.
  • Ensure timely resolution of technical issues through effective collaboration with the team.
  • Effectively communicate with clients and colleagues regarding equipment and repairs.
  • Conduct electrical disconnect and reconnect tasks as required.
  • Implement problem-solving skills for fault finding tasks as necessary.
  • Provide technical expertise and become a subject matter expert for building management systems.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a service technician in the electrical industry.
  • A basic understanding of HVAC systems.
  • Experience in BMS is preferred, but not essential. Significant training can be provided.
  • Electrical disconnect/reconnect license is preferred.
  • Experience with Niagara systems is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
