Our client, a leading entity in the realm of Automated Warehousing, is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician. This role has emerged due to the expansion of their team and is pivotal in delivering sophisticated solutions for advanced technology systems across significant projects in Australia and New Zealand.
Position Overview
As a Field Service Technician, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for the following:
- Provide support to multiple customer locations.
- Deliver technical assistance during equipment failures, scheduled maintenance, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Manage and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) tasks within designated timelines.
- Ensure that all maintenance and repair work adheres to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards.
Essential Qualifications:
- Trade License or Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines.
- Experience working with industrial automation machinery.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC and Variable Speed Drive (VSD) systems.
- Familiarity with AS3000 Wiring standards.
- Experience utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Software.
- Ability to operate effectively under pressure while adhering to established procedures.
- Capability to interpret technical schematics and manuals.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Experience in diagnosing issues within mechatronic systems.
- Customer-oriented mindset.
- Possession of an Electrical License.
- Post Trade Certification in Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
- Experience with Automated Warehouse Equipment, including Robotics, Conveyors, Lifts, Cranes, and Palletizers.
This position not only offers a competitive salary but also presents a pathway for career advancement within a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- Base salary up to $120,000.
- Overtime compensation at rates up to 200%.
- Standard working hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend coverage compensated with time off.
- On-call duties for one week each month.
- Provision of a company vehicle.
