As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Support project planning and scheduling by assisting in the development and coordination of project timelines, resource plans, and work programs.
- Manage project documentation and administrative tasks, including contracts, client approvals, compliance records, variations, and project-related correspondence.
- Track and process procurement, invoicing, and project-related expenses, ensuring timely updates to budgets and accurate cost control across various projects.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and internal teams to support smooth communication, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project goals and delivery milestones.
- Review and manage contract variations and service amendments, preparing documentation and working with relevant parties to negotiate changes and obtain necessary approvals.
- Collect and analyze project data to prepare status updates, progress reports, meeting agendas, and close-out documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and internal quality systems, supporting site teams with documentation and governance requirements.
- Advise senior management on administrative or operational matters requiring attention, and implement their directions across project workflows and client-facing functions.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant diploma or equivalent qualification in a field such as project management, construction administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a project or construction administration role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong skills in document management, scheduling, and cost tracking, with proficiency in software applications such as MS Office and project management tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
