Job Role Overview
The Construction Project Coordinator will oversee and coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and tradespeople to ensure timely project delivery. This involves monitoring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, as well as ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and tradespeople.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with WHS regulations and company policies.
- Interpret and implement construction plans, specifications, and drawings.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients for smooth project delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.
- Manage site resources, including materials, tools, and equipment.
- Resolve on-site issues and provide practical solutions to maintain workflow.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Current White Card and valid driver's license.
- Experience with residential and commercial construction projects.
- Familiarity with project management software and digital site tools.
- Ability to foster a positive and productive site culture.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality construction projects. The successful candidate will have a Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction or equivalent, as well as minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
