Job Overview:

The role of Contracts Manager is a critical position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of contracts and managing financial and operational commitments.

This includes overseeing contract administrators, preparing and reviewing project reports, and addressing contractual matters with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract administration, with experience handling claims and disputes. They will also possess excellent commercial acumen and contract interpretation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage subcontract and supplier contracts
  • Oversee contract administrators
  • Prepare and review project reports
  • Address contractual matters with clients, consultants, and subcontractors

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education in Engineering, Commerce/Business, Law, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience handling claims and disputes
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and contract interpretation skills
  • Understanding of relevant legislation
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time and workload
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships and work in a high-performing team
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Effective interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
