Contract Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract administration and management, with the ability to effectively manage contracts from inception to completion.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all contractual obligations are met, including drafting and negotiating contracts, managing contract variations, and resolving any contractual disputes.
  • They will also be required to maintain accurate records of all contractual matters, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on contract progress.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with the project team to ensure that contracts are aligned with project objectives, and that any contractual risks are identified and mitigated.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education in a relevant field such as law, commerce or construction management.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in contract administration and management, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contractual documents.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
