We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our multidisciplinary water team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations and conveyance pipelines.

The Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Associate to provide specialist knowledge, technical review and advice, and lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams. You will be responsible for delivering practical and economical solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Develop and implement innovative solutions for clients.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and advice to colleagues.
  • Manage medium to large engineering design projects.
  • Maintain high standards of safety in design, constructability and operational practices.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related engineering discipline.
  • Significant years of experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes.
  • Strong risk management skills with ability to identify project and design related risks.
