Principal Water Systems Designer

What We Do
As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations and conveyance pipelines. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing design requirements, conducting site investigations, calculations, modeling, overseeing drafting and preparing reports and specifications.
">Key Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in civil (structural) engineering
- A minimum of 3 years experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
- Knowledge of safety in design, constructability and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
- Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify project and design related risks
- Experience in managing small to medium engineering design projects
- A commitment to working safely, and within the company HSEQ systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with a broad range of audiences
