Our organization is seeking a Health Service Design Lead to oversee health service evaluations and design initiatives that enhance optimisation, innovation, and exploration across workstreams.

The successful candidate will ensure that our existing and future services remain up-to-date and yield significant outcomes and impacts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service Review and Design Activities

The Health Service Design Lead will develop and manage service review and design initiatives that optimize, innovate, and explore new or enhanced models of care. These efforts align with our Future Care Strategy.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with both external and internal stakeholders, including funders, to identify, co-design, and deliver improved or innovative models of care.

Research Contributions:

  • Contribute to peer-reviewed journals by publishing insights related to service design and development.
  • Publish your findings at conferences and other public forums.

Grant and Tender Support:

  • Assist in grant and tender applications for service refinement or innovation.

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate strong relationships within the organization and externally.

Expert Insights:

  • Provide expert recommendations and briefings to internal stakeholders.

Report Dissemination:

  • Lead the writing and dissemination of service review and design insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant health degree with postgraduate qualification.
  • Significant experience in clinical leadership roles.
  • Proven excellence in designing and delivering health services.
  • Familiarity with program logic and evaluative techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership roles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
