Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a Transportation Officer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for driving the community bus, providing safe and friendly transportation services to passengers.

  • Drive the bus on regular trips to various locations, ensuring a supportive environment for passengers.
  • Work collaboratively with volunteers to facilitate social connections among passengers during outings.

This is a casual role that will cover other drivers when they are on leave, requiring flexibility in shift arrangements.

Requirements:

To succeed in this position, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Current Victorian Heavy Vehicle Licence (minimum Light Rigid Category).
  • Accreditation to drive a commercial passenger vehicle issued by Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria.
  • Level 2 First Aid qualification.
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills to support rostering and client management.
  • Understanding of working with frail-aged people and those with disabilities.
  • Able to lead and maintain a professional workplace environment at all times.
