Community Outreach Coordinator

As a Community Transport Officer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives by providing a safe and supportive service.
The role involves driving a community bus to various locations, including shopping centres, senior clubs, libraries, and aquatic recreation centres. You will be responsible for facilitating social connections for passengers on outings and supporting volunteers in this role.
This is a casual position that will backfill other bus drivers when they are on leave. Shifts vary each week/month depending on staff availability.
About This Role- You will need to hold a current Victorian Heavy Vehicle Licence, minimum Light Rigid (LR) Category;
- Have a current driver accreditation to drive a commercial passenger vehicle issued by Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria;
- Possess a Level 2 First Aid qualification;
- Have relevant computer knowledge and skills to support the team with rostering and client management;
- Understand working with frail aged people and people with disabilities;
- Be able to take leadership in maintaining a professional and respectful workplace culture.

This casual role is remunerated at Band 4 level A, paid at $47.15 per hour plus leave loading and superannuation, with overtime paid as required.
