AV Systems Technician

We are seeking an AV systems technician to join our team and play a pivotal role in operating and maintaining our night walk attraction.

About the Role

As an experienced and highly skilled AV systems technician, you will oversee the management and upkeep of the attraction to ensure all zones run smoothly for each daily operation. This includes nights and weekends.

Your technical expertise will extend across the Sanctuary, where you'll handle a variety of AV systems, assisting with installations, maintenance, and upgrades. You'll support conferences, gala dinners, and special functions at our newly built venue, The Homestead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain AV systems throughout the attraction and events
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot various AV systems
  • Perform equipment maintenance and repairs, including soldering skills
  • Troubleshoot and resolve multi-system problems efficiently
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results
  • Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and asset registries

Requirements

  • Proven experience in AV installation and operations
  • Knowledge of control systems and automation is highly desirable
  • Expertise with lighting and DMX programming, show cue programming
  • Ability to work nights and weekends to support the night walk attraction and accommodate onsite event needs
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • A valid driver's license is required and additional certifications such as rigging tickets or EWP (Elevating Work Platform) licenses are highly desirable
