IT Support Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking an IT Support Coordinator to join our team in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for IT and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • The IT Support Coordinator will provide advanced support across hardware, software, networking, and POS systems to ensure seamless connectivity throughout the venue.
  • They will also troubleshoot complex technical challenges, implement smart solutions, and prevent issues from occurring in the future.
  • Maintenance of servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and business-critical applications is also a key responsibility.
  • The role requires the ability to look after infrastructure, supporting firewalls, switches, wireless networks, WANs, VPNs, and phone systems to ensure they are secure and reliable.
  • Additionally, the IT Support Coordinator will drive IT projects forward, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver improvements and upgrades.
  • Championing cybersecurity is also a critical aspect of this role, requiring the ability to monitor risks, assist with audits, and support incident response.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential, as the IT Support Coordinator will need to train and support users, providing clear and user-friendly solutions to technical problems.
What We Are Looking For
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of IT support experience, including system administration and infrastructure management.
  • Strong technical knowledge across Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, networking, virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V), and backup/recovery systems.
  • Experience with firewalls, WANs, VPNs, IT Ticketing, and phone systems is highly desirable.
  • Cybersecurity principles and best practices are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and provide professional, user-friendly support is crucial.
  • Flexibility to participate in after-hours support rotations is required.
  • Interest in Australian Rules Football is beneficial but not essential.
