About the Role

Flexhive is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to play a key role in the dynamic and essential aviation sector.

As an APS6 Regulatory Officer, you will be at the forefront of regulatory compliance, airport planning and development, helping to shape the future of Australia's airports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal legislation, overseeing airport planning and development activities.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver on multiple activities and projects, often within tight timeframes to achieve regulatory and compliance outcomes.
  • Documentation: Draft, review and contribute to operational manuals, guidance documents, briefings and reports.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support regulatory and policy objectives.
  • Secretariat Duties: Perform secretariat duties for the Board and support the continuous improvement of compliance and reporting processes.
Requirements
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of forming evidence-based conclusions.
  • Excellent Time-Management: Excellent time-management abilities.
  • Clear Communication: Clear, concise communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Effective Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory scenarios.
  • Regulation Experience: Experience in regulation and compliance, with an ability to interpret and apply legislation.
