Job Title: Compliance Investigator

Job Summary:

The Compliance Investigator will be responsible for conducting routine investigations and providing support to Senior Investigators on more complex matters. This role requires a Certificate IV in Government (Investigations or Compliance) or equivalent experience in investigative work, as well as excellent written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct or provide support to multiple routine investigations into suspected breaches of the law.
  • Prepare and present briefs of evidence for criminal and civil proceedings, and reports for administrative actions.
  • Identify opportunities and develop, implement and/or improve procedures.
  • Produce accurate and timely advice and written work for a range of internal and external audiences.
  • Establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships with agency staff, and counterparts in other agencies.
  • Under guidance, develop and participate in proactive regulatory activities including site visits and compliance monitoring activities.

The Compliance Branch is responsible for supporting compliance activities across our schemes and contributing to more robust, effective business administration. This role will be part of a multi-disciplinary team working in a regulatory compliance environment.
