About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Lead to join our team at Laing O'Rourke. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our risk and compliance frameworks, providing guidance to the business, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management and compliance practices are embedded across the organization.
- Provide training and support to employees on risk management and compliance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of risk assessments, compliance audits, and other relevant documentation.
About You
- Minimum of three years' experience in risk management and compliance, preferably in a large and complex organization.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, employees, and external stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as risk management, compliance, or a related discipline.
