About the Role

In this full-time, permanent position, you will lead the vision of our science curriculum in Australia and the US. Your expertise will drive the creation of end-to-end curriculum, including scope and sequence, lab activities, videos, questions, and assessments. You will collaborate with a talented team of designers, illustrators, scientists, writers, editors, educators, and engineers to craft engaging and challenging resources for young minds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and refine Stile's recommended scope and sequence for supported markets in Australia and the US.
  • Develop phenomena-driven units of work that integrate best aspects of Australian and International science curricula, captivating teachers and students globally.
  • Write and review lessons, activities from a teacher and student perspective prior to release.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to design innovative presentations of scientific concepts.
  • Build and maintain networks of subject matter experts for technical and cultural advice on lessons.
  • Foster an advisory board of esteemed science educators worldwide.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong science background, preferably with specialisation in chemistry, physics, or maths.
  • Experience in evidence-based pedagogies and deploying them in the classroom.
  • Expertise in curriculum and program development, with familiarity with NGSS being a plus.
  • Ability to present complex scientific ideas clearly to younger audiences.
  • A passion for working in a fast-paced environment and eagerness to learn and improve constantly.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy flexible work hours, opportunities to teach and demonstrate lessons alongside colleagues, and attend major science conferences. Our Melbourne CBD office provides a collaborative and supportive environment.
