Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 Teacher to join our vibrant educational team at NextGen Teachers. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to develop their academic skills, creativity, and social abilities.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting academic growth and student development.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment, conducive to effective learning.
- Evaluate student progress through regular testing and observation, identifying areas for improvement.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student development and well-being.
- Collaborate with educators to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices, driving educational excellence.
- Manage accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Possess PGCE/QTS certification, demonstrating teaching expertise.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Show excellent organisational skills, managing multiple tasks efficiently and prioritising deadlines.
- Demonstrate patience and adaptability when dealing with varying student needs and behaviors.
- Cultivate creative problem-solving abilities to address challenges in the classroom, driving innovative solutions.
- Exhibit a genuine passion for teaching and commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools can be beneficial in enhancing teaching methods.
- Experience in developing inclusive lesson plans that accommodate different learning styles is desirable.
- Familiarity with SATS teaching programs is essential for this role.
About the Role
The estimated salary for this position is around £40,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a full-time opportunity, requiring a flexible approach to work.
