Job SummaryWe are seeking an exceptional Curriculum Innovator for Science Education to join our team. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to drive vision and lead a talented team of designers, illustrators, scientists, writers, editors, educators, and engineers in creating world-class teaching and learning resources.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will have a strong science background, preferably with a specialization in chemistry, physics, or maths. Experience with curriculum and program development, particularly with the NGSS, is highly valued. You should be adept at finding innovative ways to present scientific concepts and possess excellent communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly to a younger audience.
Your Responsibilities- Maintain and refine Stile's recommended scope and sequence for all supported markets in Australia and the US.
- Develop phenomena-driven units of work that engage teachers and students worldwide by combining the best aspects of Australian and International science curricula.
- Write and review lessons, activities from a teacher and student perspective prior to release.
- Collaborate with our creative team to craft innovative presentations of scientific concepts.
- Build and maintain a network of subject matter experts to advise on technical and cultural aspects of our lessons.
- Establish and nurture an advisory board of top science educators globally.
- Visit classrooms and conferences to observe Stile in action, discuss with teachers, and stay updated on the latest trends.
This role provides a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits including flexible work hours, opportunities for professional growth, and a collaborative work environment.
LocationThe position is based in Melbourne CBD, offering easy access to public transport and a vibrant city life.
