Addictions Group Therapist

We are seeking an experienced mental health professional to facilitate Adult Addictions Services for our community and in-patient programs.
About The Role- We offer a range of treatment options for patients with dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance misuse or problematic addictive behaviours.
- The service provides inpatient support and detoxification as well as day patient rehabilitation and relapse prevention programs.
Our therapeutic model aims to enhance quality of life, support seeking, and personal functioning. We utilise Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivation Enhancement Therapy and Psychoeducation.
About You- Registration/qualifications within your relevant field.
- Proven experience in addictions group facilitation.
- A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in mental health and group facilitation.
- Training and experience in therapy modalities (CBT, DBT).
- Ability to plan, organise and facilitate skills groups.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
As a successful candidate, you will be able to work effectively in a team environment and attend multidisciplinary team meetings.
