This exciting opportunity allows you to make a difference in the lives of patients in a remote healthcare setting.
The Health and Security Assistant plays a vital support role to the nursing team, providing assistance with patient care as directed by nursing staff.
Duties include general assistance in wards, cleaning tasks, and portering for patient transfers around the facility.
The successful candidate will also undertake security-related duties as required.
Responsibilities:- General assistance in wards, including cleaning duties
- Portering for patient transfers around the facility
- Security-related duties as required
- Previous experience working in a commercial cleaning or general assistance role
- Food Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain within six months of employment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and take directions from a supervisor
- Ability and willingness to work shifts, on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Current security license
