Role Overview

As an Account Executive, your primary focus will be on securing commercial clients to facilitate Sonder's ongoing expansion in Australia. You will be adept at encouraging clients to reassess their strategies and adopt innovative approaches that significantly benefit their workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across departments to attract and onboard new clients, driving growth for Sonder
  • Meet and surpass sales targets through effective prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities within your designated area
  • Challenge conventional practices. You will have the chance to transform how organizations support their employees by utilizing impactful insights and fostering meaningful change
  • Engage in team-building and organizational growth initiatives, including strategic planning, sales training, customer marketing, and product development
  • Negotiate complex commercial agreements, including pricing and terms, while partnering with internal stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years experience in a comprehensive sales cycle
  • Proven track record of acquiring large enterprise clients
  • Experience in sales forecasting
  • Demonstrated success in leading sales processes with senior executives
  • Prior experience in selling SaaS solutions within a high-growth context
  • Experience in Health Tech or HR Tech is advantageous
  • A history of success in a disruptive industry
  • A challenger mindset, comfortable encouraging clients to rethink their strategies and effectively promoting Sonder's unique offerings, leading to growth opportunities
