Complex Disability Support Worker

Kirinari Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Disability Support Worker to join our Central West team. As a key member of our Complex Care Team, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with complex trauma and behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote growth and independence
- Provide hands-on support and assistance to clients in various settings, including residential care and community centers
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Contribute to a strength-based, non-punitive, therapeutic model of care that prioritizes client safety and well-being
- Qualification in Community Services (Cert IV) or equivalent
- Strong interest in youth work, mental health, and the disability industry
- Understanding of strength-based trauma-informed practice framework
- Ability to work shift work, including overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to obtain NDIS Workers Screen Check and NSW Working with Children Check prior to commencement
