The Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will engage with our participants to create opportunities, champion their abilities, and inspire partnerships of support that encourage every individual to realise their full potential. You will work in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) or SDA environment to provide people with high complex support needs an opportunity to live in an environment that supports and maximises personal growth and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to participants with high physical and challenging behaviors.
  • Provide personal care to individuals with disabilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports.
  • Execute designated tasks and activities aimed at meeting the client's personal needs, community support, and empowerment.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives and program goals.

Mandatory Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold:

  • NDIS worker screening clearance.
  • Cert III in Disability Services.
  • NDIS COVID-19 Certification.
  • Proof of full vaccination.
  • NSW Driver's License.
  • Working with Children Check.
