Job Title: Maintenance Delivery Leader

This role leads the maintenance delivery team in providing maintenance services across water and sewer assets for internal and external customers, developing staff, and enhancing the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously improve safe working practices and develop a proactive safety culture with team members and contractors.
  • Lead, develop, and coach team leaders and team members to achieve high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage scheduled, corrective, and reactive civil and mechanical electrical maintenance activities to ensure reliable and sustainable water and sewer services.
  • Develop initiatives to enhance the CHW customer experience and implement improvements to maintenance systems and practices.
  • Provide effective contractor management and collaborate with service providers to achieve contract goals.
  • Manage large fleets of vehicles, plant, and equipment, and maintain depots at various locations.
  • Prepare budgets, analyze expenditure, and report on maintenance performance and customer outcomes for stakeholders.

Accountability and Judgement:

  • Create, maintain, and foster a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations and policies.
  • Be accountable for people leadership, goal setting, and development across the Maintenance Delivery team.
  • Manage resources effectively, adhering to allocated cost centers.
  • Exhibit strong initiative, flexibility, and problem-solving skills, with a strategic and commercial focus.
