Global Data Center Availability Specialist

Job Summary
A senior availability engineer is sought to oversee the management and improvement of colocation infrastructure availability, incident response, and technical risk management across global infrastructure design and operations.
This role requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders at all levels to ensure system reliability and implement strategic improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop global lessons learnt strategies through incident management processes.
- Review and technically inspect root cause analysis and lead discussions for corrective actions related to site/equipment failures.
- Directly support operational issues escalations, including on-call event support.
- Contribute to regular colocation availability reporting for senior leadership.
- Define corrective global program implementation through strategic action plans.
- Provide strategic technical direction for the single point of failure program.
- Participate in infra project reviews and approvals.
- Handle technical escalations on first-of-a-kind design features.
- Drive process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure and availability engineering in data centers.
- Experience with end-to-end project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
- Deep knowledge of critical data center equipment.
