About the Role:

">Global Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as the Global Constructability Lead. This individual will play a critical role in designing and constructing data centers that meet our high standards for safety, security, and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in data center delivery, design, commissioning, and construction. They should possess a deep understanding of infrastructure system designs, construction methodologies, and civil engineering principles. The ideal candidate will be able to develop engineering design constructability standards, review design documents, and provide input to design engineers on global standards and data center designs.

The Global Constructability Lead will also be responsible for performing civil evaluations for potential sites, conducting financial analysis of construction methods and design alternatives, and ensuring constructability reviews of electrical and mechanical designs associated with the construction of new data centers or optimization of existing data centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop engineering design constructability standards
  • Review design documents and provide input to design engineers
  • Act as the point of escalation for complex constructability issues
  • Perform civil evaluations for potential sites
  • Conduct financial analysis of construction methods and design alternatives
  • Ensure constructability reviews of electrical and mechanical designs

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management. You should also have at least 10 years of experience in data center delivery, design, commissioning, and construction. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to maintain high-quality standards.
