Safety Risk Manager

As a risk management specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating and developing risk assessments to ensure the project's schedule of works is aligned. Your primary focus will be on developing, scheduling, and championing a project-specific safety monitoring program directly informed by completed activity-specific risk assessments.
You will facilitate and report on incident investigations, monitor the effectiveness of safety and health, environment and training management plans on site, and provide advice to the project manager on possible improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will notify, classify, and record all incidents in the incident database to maintain a complete and accurate record.
Requirements- A relevant diploma level qualification or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years mining site-based experience
- Ability to lead and facilitate risk assessments associated with mining work
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
