Safety and Emergency Management Specialist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Safety and Emergency Management Specialist to join our team. We are seeking a proactive and experienced professional to lead the delivery of safety and emergency response services across our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement robust safety and emergency management strategies aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide expert technical advice on safety, emergency management, and business continuity to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and review key operational plans including Security, Maritime Security, Emergency Response, Adverse Weather, and Business Continuity.
  • Build and manage relationships with local, state, and federal emergency/security services and regulatory agencies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in LNG or similar regulated industries, with strong knowledge of Queensland Emergency Services management & operations. They will also possess expertise in security & emergency preparedness, with skills in threat assessment, risk analysis, incident management, and business continuity planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong background in safety and emergency management with a focus on security and business continuity.
  • Extensive experience in LNG or similar regulated industries.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective safety and emergency management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
