Fleet Manager and Asset Coordinator

About this role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Fleet & MHE Coordinator to manage and optimise our national portfolio of over 1000 assets comprising light, heavy vehicles, Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and HDE Fleet.

  • Own and execute the fleet strategy for MHE and Tool of Trade fleets.
  • Lead full lifecycle management from acquisition to end-of-life.
  • Act as subject matter expert for fleet, MHE, and battery/fuel requirements across sites.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Develop standards, policies, and training for national deployment.
  • Integrate telematics and asset tools to enhance visibility and analytics.
  • Champion sustainability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What you bring to the role:

  • 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, or fleet/MHE management.
  • Certification in project or asset management; forklift license (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong knowledge of fleet systems, MHE specs, and WHS compliance.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing or distribution environments.
