Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Architectural Technician to lead our design efforts in the creation of innovative, commercially viable solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating client vision into buildable designs that push the boundaries of architectural excellence.

This role requires a strong understanding of modular construction principles and experience working with BIM platforms. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to effectively lead client presentations, workshops, and design reviews. A strategic mindset, coupled with a passion for innovation and sustainability, is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee internal and external design teams to ensure alignment with project vision and compliance
  • Coordinate with engineering, services, and construction teams to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Act as the architectural lead in client meetings, workshops, and design reviews
  • Ensure all designs meet Australian Standards, BCA, planning requirements, and WHS regulations
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3–5 years' post-graduate experience in architectural design, ideally within D&C or modular environments
  • Confidence to lead designs from concept through to construction documentation
  • Experience with BIM platforms and a sharp eye for detail and buildability
  • A strong understanding of Building Code of Australia planning processes and compliance requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, juggling deadlines and still delivering exceptional outcomes
