About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Director to join our team at Oryx People Automotive. As a key member of our automotive marketing team, you will be responsible for managing and growing our client portfolio, developing and implementing comprehensive strategies that align with clients' brand goals and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key automotive clients, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring their marketing/advertising needs and objectives are met.
  • Strategic Leadership: Create and implement comprehensive strategies that align with clients' brand goals and market positioning.
  • Campaign Oversight: Oversee the execution of campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to deadlines and budgets.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of account managers and creatives, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
  • Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly in the automotive sector, and provide clients with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing detailed reports and strategic recommendations to clients and internal teams.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a senior in account management, with extensive experience managing high-profile client accounts, preferably within the digital marketing or advertising industry.
  • Industry Expertise: Significant experience working with automotive clients and a deep understanding of automotive industry dynamics.
  • Strategic Skills: A deep understanding of integrated marketing strategies, including digital, social media, and traditional channels.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of account managers and creatives.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical capabilities, with experience using data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and decisions.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly in engaging with senior-level clients and stakeholders.
  • Education: Relevant degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
