Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Director or Group Account Director to join our team at Thrive, Sydney. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative agency that is consistently growing and pushing the boundaries of public relations and communications.

As a Senior Account Director or Group Account Director, you will play a key role in leading a core Sydney team of category specialists and reporting to the local Sydney Business Director. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the world's biggest brands in tech, travel, and tourism, transport, wellness, automotive, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement integrated, strategic PR/social plans with impact
  • Manage client relationships and develop thought leadership strategies across traditional media and social
  • Lead a team of category specialists and manage workflow and outcomes
  • Drive best-in-class work across strategy, creative, and delivery of traditional and integrated communications services
  • Participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities and tailored internal and external training
Requirements
  • 10-12+ years experience in agency or in-house
  • Passionate, accountable, curious, of high integrity, and thrives on collaboration
  • Ability to devise an integrated, strategic PR/social plan with impact
  • Demonstrated network developed by excellent relationship management and outstanding client service reputation
  • Positive energetic approach to work and a natural solutions-focused mindset
  • Proven track record of client development resulting in annualised revenue growth
  • Experienced manager of teams
  • Financially astute and comfortable in commercial conversations
