The Role

You will report to the Assistant Director and oversee key processes related to supporting ministerial offices.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing administrative support services to ministerial offices and Departmental Liaison Officers, effectively managing services such as Comcar, print and digital media subscriptions, courier services and ad hoc purchasing.
  • Coordinating and delivering regular department-wide reporting to ministers.
  • Leading the Question Time Brief process, including managing briefs in the Parliamentary Document Management System, engagement with DLOs, and monitoring Question Time.
  • Providing advice to DLOs to deliver optimal solutions to requests received from ministerial offices.
  • Assisting with financial management functions, including expenditure tracking and forecasting for ministerial office services.
