Agricultural Labourer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Agricultural Labourer to join our team in Queensland. This is a permanent role that offers a challenging and rewarding work environment.

  • Meet with the Farm Manager to receive banana blocks and undertake bunch bagging tasks
  • Collect and prepare equipment and supplies for daily use
  • Operate farm machinery to complete tasks, including pruning and selecting bags
  • Perform maintenance and repair of irrigation systems and sprinklers
  • Use personal protective equipment for handling chemicals

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine tasks as directed to assist with banana farming operations. This includes meeting with the Farm Manager, collecting and preparing equipment, operating farm machinery, and performing maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 1 year of relevant work experience. You should have strong communication and teamwork skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
