Job Summary
The Warehouse Site Manager will oversee the entire site and supply chain operations with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role involves managing warehouse and packing activities, ensuring a safe working environment, and fostering commercial relationships through effective customer management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a positive safety culture across all site activities, including regular reporting on safety compliance.
  • Build a positive team culture through proactive management, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop operational strategies that maximize site efficiencies while balancing safety and customer service.
  • Proactively manage staff requirements, including coaching and development to optimize labor utilization.
  • Maximize equipment allocation and utilization between activities.
  • Assist in developing operational plans and budgets.
  • Be responsible for the financial performance of the site, including understanding budget variances.
  • Contribute to site production forecasting and business planning.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A recognized grain sampling and inspection course.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to improve processes and optimize resources.
  • Department of Agriculture Accreditation.
  • Grain Storage and Handling or Warehouse operation experience.
  • Adequate understanding of chain of responsibility obligations.
  • Risk identification accreditation.
  • Experience in managing a team of 5+ employees, including casual seasonal workers.
  • Leadership and people management skills.
