Community Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Community Support Specialist to engage clients in community activities, promoting confidence and social connections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support clients with community participation through engaging outdoor/indoor activities
  • Safely transport clients to and from activities (up to 85km per session)
  • Provide companionship, mentorship and encouragement to build confidence
  • Assist with personal preparation and healthy lifestyle choices
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in mental health support is essential
  • Archery experience is required for one of our clients
  • Physically capable of participating in outdoor activities
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards community engagement
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
