Lighting Design Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to coordinate commercial lighting projects from design to installation, maintaining associated documentation. The ideal candidate will work closely with our team to prepare and develop lighting plans, specifications and proposals for retail spaces that align with project requirements and corporate vision.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Property, Design & Planning, Shopfitting Departments and Electrical Contractors ensuring project alignment and execution.
  • Undertake lighting drafting, design and simulation ensuring compliance to Australian/New Zealand standards in line with the National Construction Code.
  • Contribute to effective progression of the team supporting continuous development and driving process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed lighting plans, specifications and proposals for retail spaces aligning with project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of lighting projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in lighting design, project documentation, and coordination.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, AGi32/Dialux, Photometric toolbox and other lighting design tools.
  • Sound understanding of AS/NZ Lighting Standards and Building/Construction Codes.
