Electrical Design Specialist

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Electrical Design Specialist to join its Engineering Services team.
The successful candidate will represent and champion the Engineering services team as a subject matter expert in electrical and communications systems.
- Design engineering functions and support business operations through project delivery phases in line with development programmes.
- Conduct design reviews and inspections to ensure compliant and quality-assured services design packages.
- Provide technical advice on electrical, lighting and communications systems within retail environments.
- Act as Project Engineer for development projects, responsible for design, documentation, estimates and financial control.
Key qualifications include:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Solid industry experience with consulting experience preferable.
- Experience in design of electrical (low voltage and high voltage systems), communications, lighting design and negotiation with authorities.
