Job Description

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled API Gateway Integration Specialist to join our team in Australia.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Analysis: Lead the design and analysis of integration patterns from an API Gateway perspective, ensuring seamless system integration and robust security mechanisms.
  • Security and Compliance: Design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for APIs and applications, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Policy Development: Develop and maintain Axway API Gateway policies to facilitate secure access and minimize risks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and technical requirements, promoting effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize API performance, security, and scalability, utilizing tools like Splunk for monitoring and analytics.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in Identity integration and Axway API Gateway platform management roles, with a deep understanding of identity protocols and standards.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in Axway API Gateway policy development and management, familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GPC), and DevOps practices and tools.
  • Industry Knowledge: Industry experience in Insurance or Banking, with an understanding of industry-specific compliance and security requirements.
  • Certifications: Familiarity with identity and API management platforms, such as Axway API Gateway, ForgeRock Identity Platform, Oracle IAM, Mule Gateway, and Azure AD.
