
Clinical Laboratory Specialist

This is a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist role where you will be part of a culture that values excellent service to patients and families, servant leadership, and collegial working relationships.
- Perform various laboratory procedures under supervision, following standard and specialized techniques, instrumentation, and equipment on biological specimens to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
- Prioritize and facilitate test requests and workload, exercise professional judgment, and maintain technical competence.
The ideal candidate will have formal education with a Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field, as well as certification as a Medical Technologist (MT), Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), or categorical certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT).
Key responsibilities include strong communication skills, manual dexterity, and ability to work under stress, while demonstrating behaviors consistent with organizational expectations.
